Along with its clear glass finish, every 4W OMNI-LED Golf Ball comes with 2 separate high power LED filaments to replicate 40w incandescent light bulbs closer than ever LED before.
The 2 LED filaments of the 4W OMNI-LEDs allows for a bright 330 Lumen output as well as a complete 360° spread of light to fully illuminate the room. These are also combined with the colour selection of Warm White (3000K) and Cool White (6000K), like our full range of B22 light bulbs.
The Warm White is a softer colour that is more reminiscent of traditional halogen incandescent bulbs. Warm White is mainly used in living areas such as dining rooms and living rooms to give a warmer feel to the room.
It is also recommended for use in bedrooms and hallways due its warm feel. Also, if you have a traditionally styled room then Warm White is again, the recommendation.
If Warm White doesn't sound like the sort of colour that you will want to install then the other available colour, Cool White may be more favourable.
Cool White is generally recommended for use in bathrooms, kitchens and rooms that require more light. If you are looking to light up a room with a more modern styling to it then Cool White is highly recommended due to its clear white light output.
If you still aren't to sure on what colour you feel you should go for then please refer to further explanation of our colour temperatures through our guide.
With bulbs available in all standard E27, E14, B22 & B15 fittings and traditional globe, candle and golf ball shapes, you will be able to find a modernized version of your incandescent bulbs that will effortlessly replace your existing bulbs.
To begin with, LED light bulbs were produced with SMD LEDs to emit their light.
Since they are surface mounted accurate replication of the incandescent bulbs weren't entirely feasible. The SMD LED bulbs could on achieve a 180° beam angle due to the nature of them, although wide, this doesn't get a full recreation of incandescent bulbs. This style is a lot more suited for LED spotlights rather than LED light bulbs due to its spread of light.
OMNI-LED light bulbs are the newest style of LEDs and feature new LED Filaments. LED filaments emit an omnidirectional light which allows for a full 360° spread of light. This full spread of light allows for LED light bulbs to be closer than ever before to incandescent bulbs.
LEDs are renowned for a power usage that is minimal in comparison to incandescent lights. Where an typical incandescent light bulb uses 40w of power, LEDs generally use between 3 watts and 5 watts of power. Not only does this low power mean that you save up to 90% but LEDs have many other benefits.
As incandescent lights use around 10% of their power as light energy, the rest is used as heat energy. LEDs generally use about 90% in light energy and have a drastic reduction in the heat produced. By running at a much cooler temperature, LEDs can last at lot longer than incandescent bulbs.
The aforementioned heat issue that has been solved by LEDs is the main reason for halogen spotlights and light bulbs to fail within around 1,000 hours. LEDs however have an estimated lifespan of anywhere between 30,000 hours and 50,000 hours, meaning that you'll save money on your lighting for up to 10-15 years!
Our full Mirrorstone Lighting bulbs range comes with a 2 year warranty so you have coverage on your lights. The warranty for LED spotlights, LED light bulbs and LED tape is also extendable up to 5 years so you have coverage on your lights for a very long time.
To take advantage of this FREE offer you will need to apply within your first 90 days of purchase.
