24V Spectric Side Emitting LED Strip Lights (60 x 335 SMD, 4.8W, 480 Lumens)

Ideal for specific applications including signage lettering and edge highlighting, the 24V Spectric Side Emitting LED Strip Lights (60 x 335 SMD, 4.8W, 480 Lumens) is unique in how the light is produces shines sideways instead of up and out.

Producing 480 lumens of warm white light, this particular strip is perfect for creating a more relaxed, cosy vibe, one that’s ideal for bedrooms and living spaces where you want a more welcoming feel. Plus, when used with the right driver, this tape is fully dimmable, giving you further customisation over the ambience of your space.

While we still offer our free cutting and soldering service for this light, we must add a short tail on both sides of the tap, as we cannot anticipate whether you’ll want the light facing up or down. However, you can clip off the tail that you don’t need when your tape arrives.

Please note that this strip light is only available with an IP20 rating, meaning it can only be used in dry, indoor settings, such as living rooms, hallways and kitchens where there’s no risk of water splashing.

12 Or 24 Volts?

All of our LED strip lights are classified as low voltage, and will need an appropriate power supply to work safely. One common lighting myth is that 24V strip lights (like the featured one) are brighter than their 12V counterparts. That’s not true. The key benefit of a 24V strip is that they can run up to double the length of a 12V tape.

This increase in length makes 24-volt LED tape a lot more feasible for commercial installations due to the lengths that can be ran.

Straight out the box, this reel comes with a 2-year warranty, but it’s easy to extend this warranty out to 5 years, as long as you let us know within the first 90 days of your order. We also offer a 14 day returns policy, although we cannot accept returns on any tape that you’ve cut.
