Manufactured by industry leaders Mirrorstone, it uses just 8.5W of power. Despite the low energy consumption, it still outputs a dimmable brightness of 450 lumens.

An equivalent incandescent would use 50W to even keep up – that’s nearly 6 times the power!

With an IP44 rating, it’s great to use in areas where there might be a lot of water like the bathroom or kitchen. This is because it can protect against splashes of water, and against objects larger than 1mm.

The StyLED range of LED light bars had had a massive upgrade from their previous states. With the same low energy consumption, you’ll be getting a much brighter light. A slimmer build has resulted in a larger beam angle, too. This same new slimline design has resulted in better heat dissipation, prolonging the light bar’s lifespan.

Warm white is perfect for the living room or bedroom because of how cosy it makes the place feel. Cool white is better suited for warehouses, kitchens and offices because of its bright, icy shade of light.

The only other thing you’ll need to finish off your purchase is a 12W 12V ACDC Power Adapter, as your 8.5W light bar doesn’t come with any way to connect it to the mains.

It’s able to use far less electricity as it loses a lot less to heat. Incandescent bulbs lose about 80% of their energy to heat wastage, whereas LEDs lose closer to 10%. This is a tenfold difference in efficiency, and results in much lower electricity bills for you.

The resultant cooler operating temperature also means less wear and tear on the light too. This explains how LEDs have such long lifespans.
