The GU10 base means it is compatible with all our GU10 spotlights, giving you unprecedented levels of freedom when it comes to choosing what lights you want.
The brass finish also helps give it a timeless look, slotting straight into the required 70mm cutting hole. It also needs a recess depth of at least 147mm.
As this LED downlight is designed to be used in the shower room, it comes adequately equipped. The IP65 rating is more than enough for it to withstand light jets of water, ensuring your equipment is protected.

The NeoTec line has been fully updated to deliver the absolute best that a downlight can be. With such a sturdy design, these fire rated materials have been streamlined to provide better fire protection, with a stylish appearance that looks great. The design has been revamped to include better heat dissipation, increasing the lifespan of your bulb.
One of the defining features of this GU10 showerlight is that it is fire rated, making it incredibly safe. How does it increase safety though?
In any given building, the ceiling acts as a protective barrier that stops fires spreading between floors. Downlights however require holes to be cut in the ceiling for them to be installed – compromising this barrier.
Even once the downlight has been fit, there will still be tiny gaps between the hole and the edge of the light. This lets heat and air to pass through.
This is where the fire rating benefits come in. Fire rated light fittings are made from intumescent material. This means that it swells up when exposed to heat.
This helps close the gaps left by the hole and make your ceiling air tight again. This protection will last up to 90 minutes which is more than enough time for you and your family to evacuate and call emergency services.
Although fire rated products cost a little bit more than standard downlights, we feel that the safety benefits alone make it worth spending the extra money.

You’ll have 2 options when buying this GU10 showerlight, and the first is whether you would like dimmable bulbs. In order to use dimmable lights though, you will need a trailing edge dimmer. Currently existing leading edge dimmers might not work and could even damage your LEDs.
The second option is what colour temperature you would like – you’ll have a choice of warm white (3000K) or cool white (6000K). Warm white is great for places that need to feel comfortable like the living room or bedroom because of its cosy feeling.
Cool white however is the opposite and is better suited for places that need to be well lit like warehouses or offices. This is because it is brighter and provides a harsher light than warm white.
Of course you are welcome to purchase bulbs separately too. We have a whole range of GU10 spotlights that would work with this showerlight.
One of our best sellers is our Eco-Rocket GU10 6W LED Bulb - 500 Lumens “The Ariel”. It’s really easy on your energy bills thanks to a power consumption of just 6W.
Despite this though, the LEDs shine with 500 lumens, giving fantastic power to light conversion. Because of the way LEDs work, it also has a lifespan of 25,000 hours, so it’ll last up to 10 years!
We’ve also got the slightly different Eco-Rocket GU10 3W LED Bulb - 250 Lumens “The Portal”. It uses a touch less electricity at 3W, but shines at 250 lumens.
We have in place a 14 day home trial period. During this time, you’re welcome to a full refund or exchange if you no longer want your GU10 showerlight for whatever reason.
Mirrorstone also provide a 1 year manufacturer warranty period, giving you added protection beyond the initial 28 days.
