Although they can be stuck anywhere thanks to the adhesives on the back of the tape, we can’t guarantee that they will stick to every surface.
That’s where our Mirrorstone 5050 LED Strip Light Silicone Brackets come in. They’re great to use with our 5050 IP67/IP68 single colour and colour changing LED strip lights, and are very much worth considering if you use your strip lights outside.
The brackets ensure that your LED tape stays in place even during the worst windy conditions. They’re fastened down with just a couple of separately sold screws, giving you the security of knowing that your strip lights won’t get damaged.
You don’t need to worry about the brackets affecting the look of your lights though – the translucent finish ensures that your LEDs can shine through the rubber fixing.
The box comes with a pack of 8 brackets, so there’s plenty for you no matter how long your strip light set up is.

Strip Lights That Fit
While there are a few strip lights that would work great with these brackets, we do have a recommendation for you.
For us, the 14.4W single colour LED strip lights represent some of the best possible value you can get, and fit the silicone fixings like a glove.
For a start, it uses a relatively small amount of power – just 14.4W per metre.
What it does with those 14.4W is really impressive though – a maximum brightness of 1020 lumens. This far exceeds the amount most household bulbs can offer.
Better yet, it has a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, making it a worthwhile long term investment.
A range of 8 colours are available – warm white (3000K), cool white (6000K), day light (4000K), blue, red, purple, yellow and green – giving you the liberty to style your lights just the way you want them.
Please do bear in mind that in order for your LED strip lights to fit the brackets, you will have to select either IP67 or IP68 protection, as the silicone cover will then match the shape of the inner bracket ensuring a secure fit.
