Bespoke Cutting Service And Maximum Lengths Of Strip

Here at Wholesale LED Lights we offer a bespoke, cut to length service and are the only LED lighting company in the UK to do so. The 4.8w/m Single Colour LED strip light can be cut every 50mm (5cm). We offer up to three cuts free of charge. If you would rather cut the LED strips yourself so you can get exact lengths or don't know the lengths you need yet then you can do that as well.

Our LED strip lights run at 12 volts so are prone to voltage drop after a certain length. Voltage drop is where LED strips lose power after a certain linear meterage. The lengths vary by strip and cannot be lengthened by using a more powerful power supply.

Like our 7.2w/m single colour LED strip light, you can run up to 12m of 4.8w/m LED strip light in one length.  We can also extend the length of the wire coming off of the strip lights at your request with some 2 core cable.

All LED Tape is priced per metre. If you purchase any amount of LED strip lights then we will send it out as one full, uninterrupted length e.g. 1 x 3m rather than 3 x 1m.

■ 10 Metres - 48 Watts;

■ 20 Metres - 96 Watts;

■ 45 Metres - 216 Watts.

Warm air around the strip and in the room.

Mounted on a surface that dissipates the heat efficiently.

  • I recently bought this LED str… 3

    I recently bought this LED strip to add some lighting to my closet, and while it works okay, I’m not as impressed as I hoped to be. The strip is easy to install and the adhesive backing is strong enough to stick to the walls, but the light output is a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a brighter light to really illuminate the closet, but the 60 LEDs per meter just don’t provide as much brightness as I was expecting. The cool white light is fine, and the strip itself is flexible and easy to work with, but it just doesn’t give me the level of illumination I wanted. I think it would be better suited for accent lighting or areas where you don’t need a lot of brightness. For a closet, I feel like I need to add another strip or two to get the amount of light I’m looking for. That said, the strip is very energy-efficient, which is a plus. At 4.8 watts per meter, it’s not going to add much to your electricity bill, even if you leave it on for long periods. And the light quality is consistent—there’s no flickering or dark spots, and the strip has held up well so far. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly LED strip for accent lighting, this is a decent option. But if you need something really bright, you might want to look for a strip with more LEDs per meter or a higher wattage. I’m giving it three stars because it’s a good product for what it is, but it just didn’t meet my expectations for brightness.

    I purchased this LED strip to add some accent lighting to my home office, and it has exceeded my expectations. The strip is flexible and easy to work with, making it simple to install around my desk and shelving units. The cool white light is bright enough to illuminate my workspace without being too harsh, and the 60 LEDs per meter create an even, consistent glow that looks really professional. One of the things I love most about this strip is how energy-efficient it is. At just 4.8 watts per meter, I can leave it on for extended periods without worrying about my electricity bill. The adhesive backing is strong and has held up well, even on the slightly textured surface of my desk. I also appreciate that the strip can be cut to size, which made it easy to customize for my specific needs. I’ve had the strip installed for a few months now, and it’s still going strong with no issues. The light doesn’t flicker or dim, and the strip itself hasn’t shown any signs of wear and tear. I’m so pleased with this purchase that I’m already planning to buy more strips to use in other areas of my home, including the kitchen and bedroom. Overall, I would highly recommend this LED strip to anyone looking for affordable, easy-to-install lighting. It’s versatile, energy-efficient, and provides a high-quality light that’s perfect for a wide range of applications. Whether you’re looking to add some accent lighting to your home office, brighten up your kitchen, or create a cozy atmosphere in your bedroom, this strip is a great choice.

    I bought this LED strip to add some extra lighting under the cabinets in my kitchen, and it’s been a solid investment. The strip provides a bright, even light that makes cooking and cleaning much easier, and the cool white color gives the kitchen a modern, clean look. The 60 LEDs per meter are well-spaced, providing a consistent glow without any dark spots or flickering. Installation was straightforward. The strip is flexible and easy to cut, so I was able to customize the length to fit perfectly under my cabinets. The adhesive backing was strong enough to hold the strip in place, even on the slightly uneven surface of the cabinet bottoms. I did use a few extra mounting clips just to be safe, but overall, the installation process was quick and hassle-free. One thing I wish was different is the color temperature of the light. While the cool white is nice, I personally prefer a warmer tone, especially in the kitchen. However, that’s just a minor gripe and doesn’t take away from the overall quality of the product. In terms of energy efficiency, this strip is excellent. At just 4.8 watts per meter, it’s very low power, which means I can leave it on for extended periods without worrying about my energy bill. The strip has been installed for a few months now, and it’s still working perfectly with no signs of wear or tear.

    I purchased this LED strip to use as under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The strip provides a bright, even light that’s perfect for illuminating my countertops. The cool white color is crisp and clean, making the kitchen look modern and fresh. The 60 LEDs per meter create a smooth, consistent light with no dark spots or flickering, which is exactly what I was looking for. The installation was straightforward. The strip is flexible and easy to cut, so I was able to customize it to fit perfectly under my cabinets. The adhesive backing is strong and has held up well, even on the slightly textured surface of the cabinets. I didn’t need any additional clips or supports, which made the installation process quick and easy.

    I bought this LED strip to add some accent lighting to my bookshelves, and it’s been fantastic. The 60 LEDs per meter provide just the right amount of brightness, and the cool white light makes my books really stand out. The strip was super easy to install; I just cut it to the right length, peeled off the backing, and stuck it in place. It’s been holding up well, and the light is consistent and even. I was a bit worried about the power consumption, but at 4.8 watts per meter, it’s really energy-efficient. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, easy-to-install accent lighting!

    I installed this LED strip in my kitchen to add some extra light under the cabinets, and it’s been working well. The light is bright and even, and it’s made a big difference in how well I can see when I’m cooking. The installation was simple—I just cut the strip to the right length, peeled off the backing, and stuck it in place. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I wish the light was a bit warmer, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, this is a great product for the price, and I would definitely buy it again for other projects around the house.
