It’s a low load trailing edge dimmer switch, primarily designed for use with generally commercially applied Powergrid systems of significant size.
This push on/push off rotary switch is eminently compatible with LED lights, and features Varilight’s patented soft start technology that effectively ensures the longevity of the voltage fluctuation-sensitive bulbs.
The soft start capability also allows the user much greater control over the light emitted, significantly improving energy-usage.
There’s also a protection feature that will automatically switch off the unit, should it sense an overload.
