Built to be sturdy but not cumbersome, the Integral Evofire GU10 Downlight Fire Rated IP65 Fixed in White, 70-100mm Cutting Hole with GU10 Holder is much slimmer than other similar lights with an IP65 rating. With a bezel that’s only 1mm thick, this fitting will blend into your ceiling perfectly.

A unique feature of the Evofire range is their open design. The internal components aren’t stored within a can as is the case with many other downlights, which allows for proper heat dissipation. This means they run 10°C cooler, massively improving their lifespan.

To maximise safety, and to remain compliant with regulations, this downlight is fire rated for 30, 60 and 90 minutes. This means that even though it will require a cut-out in your ceiling, you won’t be making your home less fireproof.

Why Use LEDs With Evofire

With a maximum load of 10w, we’d highly advise using LEDs with this fitting. Their incredible efficiency means they can produce a lot of lumens for only a few watts, preventing you from overloading the unit, while still ensuring you have bright, high-quality lighting.

There’re other great benefits to using LEDs. Lower power consumption means lower bills- you can easily outfit a whole room with LED spotlights without even coming close to the power requirements of one halogen bulb.

LEDs are also much better at diffusing heat when compared to other light bulbs, so they can capitalise even further on the unique design of the Evofire range to ensure your lights have a greatly improved lifespan.

To make things simpler, select a ‘with bulb’ option from the drop-down menu, and we’ll include a GU10 bulb as part of your order. You just have to choose whether you want a dimmable bulb and then which colour temperature you want.

Warm white is fantastic for creating a homey feel, and it combines fantastically with more traditional décor styles. Daylight is a good compromise between the two, as it closely mimics natural lighting.
