Colour Temperature Explained
You may have seen the term ‘colour temperature’ floating around on our website and be wondering what it means.
Many LEDs are available in different temperatures which are the different shades of white emitted by the bulb. We offer Cool White (6000K), Warm White (3000K) and Daylight White (4000K). On top of this, we have a wide range of RGB colours too.
Cool White is very bright and icier in shade. We would recommend this colour for use in a bathroom or kitchen; generally it is better for functional spaces. Warm White, on the other hand, is better for living rooms, dining areas and any space you want to feel more relaxed as it emits a yellow-undertone colour. Daylight sits in between these shades and combines the cosy feel of the Warm White and sharp effect of the Cool White.
