Deceptively tiny at 35mm tall and 15mm wide, this capsule cylinder can pack a punch, but it looks pretty strange if you’re new to LEDs.
This capsule will fit any light with a G4 base, so retrofitting your old lights is pretty simple! it does require a 12v DC input voltage, so will require a transformer to convert a 240v mains input in some cases.
That said, one of the most obvious benefits of LED Lights is how much money you can save on your electricity bills in the long term. Taking in just 1.5 watts of power, but putting out lumens equivalent to a 15 watt halogen, that makes this light 90% more efficient than its halogen counterpart! With so little energy wasted, the capsule has an expected lifespan of 50,000 hours (when used for eight hours a day). Or, in practical terms, that’s about 5 years! Say goodbye to having to constantly swap out broken bulbs, LEDs are built differently.

One of the best parts of any LED is that they’re not constrained by the limitations of other bulbs, even disregarding the many environmental and cost saving benefits. One of those benefits is that they can come in a range of colour temperatures, letting you customise the room you put them even further. This capsule can be ordered in Warm White or Cool White, just choose which one you’d like from the drop-down menu when you add it to your cart!
Warm white provides an intimate glow, not unlike a fireplace. If your light is going to be in the living room or bedroom, that’s the best option. Meanwhile the cool white has a sharper, focusing feel which is perfect for kitchens and bathrooms. But both can work in a variety of rooms depending on your interior décor. The choice is yours!

If you have a smaller fitting that needs as slim a bulb as possible, the SlimLED 12v G4 LED Bulb 1W, 100 Lumens is your best bet. Small but powerful, this bulb only uses one watt to put out 100 lumens of brightness!
Alternatively, the SlimLED 2.1W G4 LED 15 SMD Disc, 210 Lumens, can put out a fantastic 210 lumens of light, perfect if you need a little bit more brightness than this bulb can put out.
