There’s the MR16 80 LED Cluster Spotlight
We’ve expanded our existing range of MR16 spotlights by introducing the much sought-after 80 Cluster LED in a 12V MR16 format. This means that home and business owners running their lighting on low voltage systems will now be able to take advantage of one of our most popular varieties of LED bulb.
This bulb runs at 4.5W, but produces the same number of lumens of brightness as a 50W halogen bulb, meaning it’s over 90% more energy-efficient which we think you’ll agree is very impressive.
They’re available in two colour temperatures, which will enable you to tailor the ambience of your room according to its function.
The warm white (3000K) is most people’s choice for living spaces like the bedroom, as its mellow light quality provides a relaxed, convivial feel.
Functional rooms such as the study or kitchen are best suited to the cool white (6000K) as it’s brighter, more precise light is ideal for task-related activities like cooking and food preparation.
The great news is that all of our MR16 LED spotlights run through conventional 12V transformers.
And There's The GU10 24 Super Hyper SMD Dimmable
Great news, our outstanding second generation Surface-Mounted Diode technology (SMD) is now available in a dimmable format.
The brand new Dimmable GU10 24 SMD LED Bulbs will give you the superb performance of every other GU10 LED bulb, only with the additional ambient flexibility that the dimming feature represents.
And, as you’ve probably already heard, all LED bulbs have an incredible 50,000 hour life-expectancy and even greater energy-efficiency, as well as the standard warm and cool white options, but what you may not know is that Dimmable GU10 24 SMD LED Bulbs also have a much wider beam angle than typical GU10 bulbs, making them eminently suitable for a wider range of commercial and domestic applications.
If you’re planning on using dimmable LEDs, it’s recommend that you use them in conjunction with a Trailing Edge Dimmer Switch. There’s an incredibly wide range available, including traditional rotary dimmers, innovative touch-sensitive dimmers, as well as the fantastic switches and sockets that form the Lightwave Home Automation system.
They’re the perfect companion for dimmable LED technology, designed as they are with low wattages in mind.
