LED Floodlights – Your Only Option For Outdoor Lighting

LED Flood lights

LED floodlights are the perfect way to illuminate the outdoor areas of your property, and they save you money along the way too.

It’s really important you invest in the right spec, and highest quality floodlights – you wouldn’t want your summer party cut short because your floodlight cuts out right?

Whether they’re for home use, or for commercial set ups in sports arenas for example – having a reliable floodlight is of the utmost importance. Our LED floodlight range represents some of the best reliability on the market.

Around Your Property

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a wattage for domestic use. Which one you do choose really comes down to where you need to use it.

Our smaller floodlights start at 10W, and are ideal for lighting up more confined areas of space outside, such as side alleys and porches. These are equivalent to a 100W halogen floodlight.

For places that are a bit more open like the garden and patio area, you’ll probably want to go a bit more powerful – up to our 20W and 30W LED floodlights. These are ideal replacements for 200W and 300W halogen floodlights.

If your garden is particularly large, going up to 50W might be a wise move. For a halogen floodlight to match the light output, it would need 500W of power.

Commercial Uses

As far as LED floodlights are concerned, going beyond 50W generally means looking past domestic use.

Places like car parks and warehouses really benefit from our high power 100W and 200W units. We’ve even had our products used on golf courses, so they’re great for any other kind of sports venue too, including local football pitches.

The Different Options

It’s worth knowing that all our LED floodlights come with integrated LED drivers – so all you need to do is connect it directly to your 240V mains supply.

Aside from providing light, our floodlights can also be excellent deterrents for potential intruders and burglars when used with one of our PIR motion sensors.

Once again, the world is your oyster here – you can purchase units with a built in PIR sensor, or if you’d prefer you can get it separately.

All-in-one floodlights reduce the amount of wiring you’ll have to deal with, whereas having them as 2 separate units allows you to strategically place the sensor and light in different locations.

For the inner party animal, we also sell a range of remote controlled RGB LED floodlights. These have a number of functions including brightness, fade and shaky to name a few. It also allows you to have a choice of red, green, blue or white light from your floodlight.

The Advantages

It’s easy to get carried away with all the choices and options, but let’s not forget the basic advantages of using our LED floodlights too.

Our LEDs use substantially less electricity than their halogen equivalents, as we’ve already mentioned. This means your bills come for a lot less, so you save more money!

Their lower energy needs mean that there’s less wear and tear on them too, so they last up to 50,000 hours! That’s 2 times longer than fluorescent lights and 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

LEDs don’t have any harmful substances in them too, whereas fluorescent lights contain small amounts of mercury vapour – between 0.04 and 0.7 milligrams per bulb. This is dangerous in the event of a leak, but LEDs pose no such risk.

The safety factor is doubled as LEDs use low voltage – typically 12V or 24V – making them perfect for outdoor use.

Our LED floodlights provide some of the best bang for buck you can get, and with so many advantages, there aren’t a lot of reasons to make the switch!
