This fantastic LED bulb is compatible with all 240V E27 fittings, and doesn’t need any additional installations. Once on, it’s extremely frugal on energy, consuming just 4W and emitting 440 lumens, resulting in the same kind of brightness you would expect from a 40W halogen!
This makes it great for medium sized areas of the house, particularly the bedroom or living room thanks to the 2700K warm white colour temperature. It measures 145mm in height, and 64mm in diameter, making it marginally larger than an average light bulb. The unique amber filter on the outer glass gives it a bespoke and almost retro look.
Despite the old-fashioned styling of the bulb, the LED technology used inside ensures that you won’t need to replace it for 25,000 hours – which works out at around 13 years of use!
You can also select a dimmable option as well, it's functionally identical apart from this extra feature. Please bear in mind that dimmable LEDs will require use of a trailing edge dimmer switch, as normal leading edge dimmers can potentially damage the LEDs inside.
