The EasiLight 150W Single Color Dimming LED Driver (WiFi+2.4G) gives you amazing levels of control over your LED strip light displays, letting you tweak them from your phone, remote or even your smart home assistant.
This particular EasiLight driver is designed for use with single colour strips. It will enable stepless dimming in addition to its range of control options, letting you adjust the ambience of your space on the fly.
You must ensure that you don’t exceed the maximum load of this driver. We recommend leaving a 10% margin for error when calculating the maximum wattage of your light display, so with this particular driver you should ensure your strip lights don’t use more than 135W.
As an example, you could comfortably use 10m of our 9.6W tape and still have watts to spare.
These drivers are built with LED strip lights in mind, which are an amazing source of light for any home. They’re compact, flexible and relatively simple to install on all kinds of unusual surfaces thanks to their adhesive backing. But there are loads of other reasons to use LED lights.
As our calculations above show, LEDs use a fraction of the power of other lights while being just as bright. That means you get loads of stylish light while reducing your bills and being a lot kinder to the environment.
LEDs also have very impressive lifespans, with many of our strip lights rated for 50,000 hours. That’s typically lifespan of around 10 years.
This driver will ensure you can connect your strip lights to your Wi-Fi, but if you’d like an analogue remote to control your lights then the EasiLight 4 Zone Single Colour Smart Panel Remote Controller is a great option.
If you haven’t yet purchased any strip tape, then you’ll need something like the Spectric Single Colour LED Strip Lights (30 x 5050 SMD, 7.2W, 510 Lumens) to get started. There’s no point using RGB or RGBW tape with this driver, as you won’t be able to interact with their colourful chips. You’d want to use the EasiLight 150W RGBW Dimming LED Driver (Wi-Fi + 2.4G) instead.

Good performance, but Wi-Fi setup was a bit tricky. Once connected, it’s solid.
The dimming feature is very smooth, with no noticeable flicker or delay. I’ve set up a few different lighting scenes that change automatically based on the time of day. The driver is also energy-efficient, which is important for me as I try to keep my energy usage in check. One thing to note is that the initial setup was more involved than I anticipated. However, now that everything is up and running, the driver performs reliably. The build quality feels solid, and I haven’t had any issues with performance. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone needing a high-capacity, smart LED driver. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with the Wi-Fi setup.
I recently upgraded my home lighting with the EasiLight 150W Single Colour Dimming LED Driver, and it’s been a fantastic addition. My primary goal was to find a reliable driver that could handle the high power requirements of my extensive LED strip setup. This driver not only met but exceeded my expectations in several ways. The installation process was fairly straightforward. The wiring was simple to connect, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. The only hiccup I encountered was with the initial Wi-Fi setup. I had to reset the driver a couple of times and make sure my router was close enough to ensure a stable connection. Once I managed to get it connected, the Wi-Fi control has been seamless. The dimming feature of the driver is one of its standout aspects. I love the smooth transition from bright to dim light, and the app control makes it incredibly easy to adjust the lighting levels. I’ve set up different lighting scenes that change automatically throughout the day, and the app allows me to make adjustments on the fly.
